PUMPKIN PARTY IDEAS

Pumpkin Punch Bowl

INGREDIENTS & MATERIALS
2 cups pumpkin puree
1 cup vanilla vodka
½ cup spiced rum
1½ cups apple cider
1 bottle ginger beer
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
¼ cup sugar
Pumpkin
Knife
Ice cream scooper or big spoon
Large bowl
Dry ice
Water

INSTRUCTIONS
Cut a large hole in the top of the pumpkin and remove the “lid.”
Scoop out the pumpkin guts.
Fill the pumpkin with dry ice (optional). Use gloves or tongs - DO NOT touch with your bare hands!
Add a bowl that fits snugly inside the pumpkin.
Fill the bowl with all ingredients and stir.
When you’re ready to serve, pour water around the outside of the bowl so it activates the dry ice.

Pumpkin Dip Bowl

MATERIALS
Small pumpkin
Knife
Ice cream scooper or big spoon
Dip or dressing

INSTRUCTIONS
Cut off the top of the pumpkin to use as a lid.
Scoop out the pumpkin guts.
Fill the pumpkin with dip or dressing of your choice and serve with veggies, chips, etc.


Pumpkin Keg

MATERIALS
Pumpkin
Pumpkin carving knife
Keg tap kit

INSTRUCTIONS
Cut off the top of the pumpkin to use as a lid.
Scoop out the pumpkin guts.
Cut a hole where the keg tap will go, then attach the keg tap.
Fill with beer, cocktail, or punch, and serve!

Pumpkin Garland

MATERIALS
Orange yarn
Scissors
Green pipe cleaners
Twine

INSTRUCTIONS
Wrap a piece of yarn around the palm of your hand about 100 times.
Take a small piece of yarn and tie it tightly around the wrapped yarn.
Puff out the sides so that the ball of yarn makes a pumpkin snape.
Cut a small piece of pipe cleaner and slide it into the yarn. Twist the pipe cleaner so it creates a pumpkin stem.
Create as many pumpkins as you want and attach them to the twine to make a garland.
