Here is what you'll need!
DIY Map Art
MATERIALS
Matted frame
Cardstock paper
Glue
Preferred material (dirt, sand, moss, etc.)
INSTRUCTIONS
Cut a piece of cardstock paper that will fit inside your frame.
Draw the shape of your map on the paper with glue.
Sprinkle your dirt, sand, or whatever material you chose over the piece of paper, making sure that it covers every part of the glue drawing.
Wait until the glue is completely dry.
Shake off any excess dirt/sand/etc. so nothing but the shape of the map remains.
Place the paper in your matted frame.
