Storage Hacks For Christmas Lights

ELECTRICAL CORD REEL
SUPPLIES
Cord reel

INSTRUCTIONS
Take one end of the lights and hook it to the reel.
Slowly and carefully reel the entire string of lights and pack it away.

HANGER LIGHTS
SUPPLIES
Hangers

INSTRUCTIONS
Take one end of your lights and loop the end around the hanger slit.
Starting from one end of the hanger wrap the lights tightly.
Wrap the string of lights back and forth up to the end.
Tuck the end into the hanger and it is all set.

ICICLE LIGHT STORAGE
SUPPLIES
Plastic wrap

INSTRUCTIONS
Stretch out plastic wrap to the length of the icicle lights.
Lay out the strand of lights on top of the wrap. Take one end of the socket and plastic wrap and roll it up.
Keep them from tangling by having the plastic separating each strands.

CARDBOARD LIGHT HOLDERS
SUPPLIES
Cardboard
scissors

INSTRUCTIONS
Cut cardboard into flat sheets.
Make slits along the cardboard.
Starting from the top, wrap the cord tightly around the cardboard making sure the light strand goes through the slit.
If your lights are extra long keep feeding it through multiple sheets of cardboard. They will all stay together and keep it from tangling up!
