Get your life together with the Nifty Organization Journal: bit.ly/2AYkXm2

Here is what you'll need!

MATERIALS
Wood
Stain or paint
2 Shelf brackets
Screws
Elastic
Staple gun
Drywall anchors

INSTRUCTIONS
Stain or paint the wood as desired and let dry.
Take the end of elastic and staple-gun it to the center-left side of the shelf.
Create a loop of elastic, by placing an average-sized book next to your strapped elastic. Pull it tight, and stretch it right around the top of the book and back down to the shelf. Staple the elastic in place. Repeat down the whole center of the shelf.
Screw shelf brackets to either side of the shelf.
Hang shelf to your wall with the loops facing down.
Hang books into the elastic loops by sliding the elastic into the inside of the book cover, so it is hidden from sight.
Your books will look like they are floating upside-down!
