Here is what you'll need!

Confetti Explosion Box

MATERIALS
1¼-inch socket cap
1¼-inch pipe (2 pieces)
1¼-inch coupling (2 pieces)
1¼-inch x ½-in reducer bushing (2 pieces)
½-inch pipe (3 pieces)
½-inch 90-degree elbow (2 pieces)
½-inch slip ball valve
1¼-inch, 90-degree elbow
Power drill
Drill bit
Metal valve stem
PVC primer
PVC cement
Bicycle pump
Confetti
Spray paint (optional)
Tape
Box
Box cutter


INSTRUCTIONS
Drill a hole into the top of the 1¼-inch socket cap. Insert the metal valve stem through the bottom of the cap. Screw in the nut to screw the valve stem.
Add PVC primer into the cap and brush PVC cement to fill in any gaps between the valve stem and the cap. Let it dry.
Lay out the pieces just like the image below. Add PVC primer and PVC cement before connecting the rest of the pieces except for the 1¼-inch, 90-degree elbow. Let it dry.




4. Insert the 1¼-inch, 90-degree elbow. Adjust to whatever direction you like!
5. Spray paint (optional).
6. Tape it into a box. Cut a hole on the side of the box for your hand to access the valve.
7. Close the valve and pump up it up with a bicycle pump to 100 PSI.
8. Fill the opening with confetti and have fun surprising people!
