Here is what you'll need!
Easy Porch Light Upgrade
MATERIALS
3 picture frames
4 L-brackets
Industrial-strength glue
Outdoor spray paint
Frosted glass paint
2 keyhole hangers
1 piece of wood (cut to fit perfectly as a top)
INSTRUCTIONS
Start with the current outdoor lamp. Measure height and width of lamp and collect three picture frames at least that height and width.
Paint frames with waterproof outdoor paint.
Spray glass with frosted glass paint.
Use industrial-strength glue to glue glass onto frame.
Use industrial-strength glue or L-brackets to piece together frames, making a rectangular U-shape.
Cut a piece of wood to fit the top of the three-framed U-shape.
Paint wood with the same waterproof outdoor paint.
Attach top to frames with industrial-strength glue or L-brackets.
Attach a keyhole fastener to the back of the top piece of wood (if not thick enough, attach two to the sides of the frames), small hole up.
OR
Measure and mark area around current outdoor lamp and place screws to match up to the keyhole hanger.
Slide cover into place.
