How To Remove Rock Salt Stains

FROM LEATHER & SHEEPSKIN BOOTS
Mix together 1 cup water and 1 tbsp vinegar.
Soak a cotton ball in the mixture.
Gently rub the surface of the shoe with the soaked cotton ball. Do not oversaturate the area or you can damage the material.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
For sheepskin: once completely dry, wipe the surface with a soft bristled brush.

FOR CARPETS
Mix together one part water and one part vinegar in a spray bottle.
Spray the carpet so that the stain is completely saturated.
Blot the stain.

FOR CLOTHES
Scrub the stain clean with cold water.
If the stain remains, soak in cold water overnight.
Wash in laundry machine.
