Here is what you'll need!
MATERIALS
Makeup remover wipes
Knife
Dish soap
Olive oil
Hair dryer
Cotton pad
Rubbing alcohol
White bar soap
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Clean the inside of the makeup bag with makeup remover wipes.
2. Scrape off the top layer of lipstick and freeze it overnight to kill bacteria.
3. Mix 2 parts dish soap with 1 part olive oil. Dip dirty brushes in this mixture and clean under running water, swirling the brush in your palm until the water runs clear.
4. Use the heat from a hair dryer to soften dried makeup on an eyelash curler and remove the gunk with a cotton pad sprayed with rubbing alcohol.
5. Rub a dirty makeup sponge on white bar soap under running water until the water runs clear.
6. Spray powder products with alcohol to disinfect.
7. Throw out old products:
-Lipstick lasts up to 1 year
-Lip gloss lasts up to 1 year
-Pressed powder lasts up to 1 year
-Mascara lasts 3-6 months
-Concealer lasts up to 1 year
-Blush lasts 6 months to 1 year
-Foundation lasts 6 months to 2 years
