First things first, let's find out why you should never clean earwax with the cotton buds. When you do this, you only push the wax deeper into an ear canal. Which can damage the ear drum. It can damage your hearing. Earwax is actually beneficial. It protects the ears from foreign objects, insects and against fungal infection. It also lubricates the ear canal.

So how do you get rid of the earwax? You can't. And you don't need to! ; )

- stearic acid, candle wax
- arsenic, a dangerous poison
