DECEIVING SECRETS OF THE FOOD INDUSTRY REVEALED
Have you ever seen a commercial and always wondered why the food in the pictures looks a lot more appetizing than the real thing? Well, as it turns out, it's not computer magic or photoshop but small edits on the food to make it appear good on camera and help with the sales.
To make it look like the Lava cake is pouring out chocolate when it's cut, they make a brown slime using PVA glue and then they stick it on the cake.
To make the tea look stronger they mix some brown colored substance in the leaves to make it appear more appetizing.
When cooking chicken in real life – the chicken shrinks and it becomes smaller – that is a huge no, no in ads. So, they simply burn the top of it with a torch and then they mix soy sauce with shoe polish to make it appear juicy.
To prevent ice-cream from melting while taking photos of it. Advertisers make mashed potatoes instead and mix food coloring to it to make it look realistic.
