Supplies
Plate
Water
Candy
Cardboard
Craft knife
Scissors
Paper
Crayons
Yarn
Cups
Food coloring
Napkins
Paper towel tube
CD


INSTRUCTIONS
Candy Rainbow
Place candy around plate. Pour water.
Whirligig
Cut circle out of cardboard.
Cut same size circle out of paper twice and glue onto both sides of the cardboard.
Color a pattern onto the paper.
Poke two holes in the center of the cardboard and thread yarn through it. Tie it to close the loop.
Place hands in the hand, wind it up, and pull taught to spin the whirlygig.
Walking Water Rainbow
Place 6 cups in a circle. Pour water into every other cup. 3 cups should have water in them.
Place a few drops of food coloring in each cup of water. Make sure one has blue, one has yellow, and one has red.
Fold a napkin smaller and insert it into the adjacent cups. Repeat until all cups have napkins.
Wait for the water to soak up the napkin and mix with the other colors!
Spectroscope
Cut a 45 degree angle slot into the bottom of a paper towel tube.
On the opposite end of the slot, cut out a rectangle.
Insert a CD into the angled slot.
Look into the rectangle to see the rainbow!
