8 Easy Hanukkah Treats
Potato Latke Cups

INGREDIENTS
4 Russet potatoes, peeled and grated
1 Yellow onion, grated
1 egg
1 teaspoon olive oil
Salt
Pepper
Applesauce
Sour Cream
Scallions, chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 400˚F (200˚C).
Grate the potatoes and place them in a bowl of cold water. Let soak for a few minutes, then drain well.
Mix the egg, olive oil, salt, and pepper together in a large bowl.
Grate the onion and mix it with the egg mixture.
Place the grated potatoes in a clean tea towel and squeeze the excess moisture out.
Mix the grated, squeezed potatoes with the onion and egg mixture.
Oil a 12-cup muffin tin with olive oil.
Add a scoop of potato mix into each muffin cup so that it is about ½ full.
Use a melon baller to press each latke into a cup shape.
Bake the latkes for 30-40 minutes, or until golden and lightly crispy.
Use a spoon or knife to release the latkes from the tin.
Serve with applesauce and sour cream, with a topping of chopped scallions!

Dreidel Pops
INGREDIENTS
1 bag marshmallows (Vegan or Kosher)
Pretzel sticks
Chocolate kisses (hugs were used in this recipe)
1 cup white chocolate chips
4 drops blue food coloring
White frosting
INSTRUCTIONS
Spear each marshmallow with a pretzel stick.
On a hot skillet, melt the bottoms of the chocolate kisses for a few seconds. Stick the melted part to the marshmallow top. Let them set for a few minutes until hard. 3. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave for 1 minute, stirring every 20 seconds until the chocolate is smooth. Add the blue food coloring and mix thoroughly. 4. With a spoon, smear the chocolate thickly over the marshmallow sides. Smooth the sides down with the back of the spoon; wiping away excess. 5. Set each on wax paper to set. With a icing tube, or piping bag, decorate them with the Hebrew letters נ ,ג ,ה ,ש.

Star of David Cupcake Topper
INGREDIENTS
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
1 ½ tablespoon Meringue Powder
¼ tablespoon Vanilla Extract
½ cup Water
Frosted cupcakes
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix all ingredients in a bowl with an electric hand mixer, until stiff peaks are formed.
Mix in more powdered sugar to thicken.
Transfer to icing bag with fine tip.
Print a Star of David template if necessary, and place parchment paper over the template.
Draw designs with icing.
Let dry and harden overnight.
Peel stars carefully off of the parchment paper.
Place on top of a frosted cupcake.

Hanukkah Pita Chips
INGREDIENTS
Pita Bread
Hanukkah Cookie Cutters
Olive Oil
Salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350˚F (175˚C).
Open pita bread and lay out the halves.
Use cookie cutters to create dreidel, menorah, and Star of David shapes. (Or use a knife to create your own shapes!)
Place pita shapes on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil and salt.
Bake 5-10 minutes, or until golden brown.

Vegetable Chanukiah
INGREDIENTS
Fresh Green Beans
9 Asparagus Stalks
8 Slices of Radish
8 Slices of Yellow Zucchini
Baby Carrots
INSTRUCTIONS
Arrange vegetables on a large plate to create a 9-candle Chanukiah. Get creative and try using other vegetables!

INGREDIENTS
White Chocolate Chips or Candy Melts
Pretzel Sticks
Blue Sprinkles
INSTRUCTIONS
Microwave chocolate in a bowl until melted.
Using tongs, dip pretzel sticks in chocolate and arrange in a triangle shape on parchment paper.
